The championship game found Houlton Black going up against Messalonskee trying to avenge their only loss of the tournament by 19 points. Houlton Black knew heading into the title game that it must step up its defense and do a better job rebounding if they were going to be victorious.

The Messalonskee team had been averaging 48 points per game on the season and killed Houlton Black on the boards in the earlier matchup. The outstanding team defense held Messalonskee to only 31 points and the fierce rebounding of Aspen Flewelling led the charge on the boards. Kolleen Bouchard and Kristen Graham led the scoring attack with a combined 36 points. Key screens and defense were added by Rylee Warman, Rebecca and Caroline Mooers, and Jessica Michaud. A great team victory over previously undefeated Messalonskee.
